Patriot in Worlds of Fun ( Kansas City , Missouri , USA ) is a steel roller coaster of the Inverted Coaster model manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard , which opened on April 8, 2006.

Details

It is located in the American themed area of Worlds of Fun and was patriotically painted in the colors red, white and blue, as well as with stripes and stars.

The lift hill is 45 m high and the first drop is 38 m high. It reaches a top speed of 97 km / h. Patriot has four inversions on its route : a 27 m high loop , a zero-g-roll , an Immelmann , and a particularly fast corkscrew . Their special characteristics are the quick change of direction and the quick passage through the individual elements.

Contrary to claims to the contrary, Patriot does not use space previously used by Orient Express , which was dismantled in late 2003. Spinning Dragons , a smaller roller coaster, has been added nearby , but the Orient Express area has still not been used.

Patriot is on the west corner near RipCord .

Trains

Patriot owns two trains with seven cars each. Four people (one row of four) can be seated in each carriage. The passengers must be at least 1.37 m tall to be allowed to ride. There are larger seats for passengers who cannot sit in the normal seats. A test seat is located next to the entrance to the attraction. Shoulder straps are used as a restraint system.
