Zak Penn

Zak Penn (* 1968 ) is an American screenwriter , film producer , actor and film director . One focus of his work is comic book adaptations.

Life

Penn graduated from Wesleyan University in 1990 .

In 2004 he won the New American Cinema Award for Incident at Loch Ness at the Seattle International Film Festival . Previously, he was in 1994 for a Golden Raspberry in the worst screenplay category for Last Action Hero , in 2002 for the ALMA Award in the category Outstanding Screenplay (Original or Adapted) for Im Fadenkreuz - alone against all ( Behind Enemy Lines ) and in 2004 for one Daytime Emmy nominated for Outstanding Special Class Animated Program for Ozzy & Drix .

Penn also worked on the scripts for The Incredible Hulk , Spy Hunter and The Avengers .

The television series Alphas , broadcast since 2011, was developed by Penn.
