Patty Loverock

Patty Loverock (actually Patricia Elaine Loverock; born February 21, 1953 in Vancouver ) is a former Canadian sprinter .

At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 , she won bronze in the 4 x 100 meter relay and reached the semi-finals over 100 m and 200 m . In 1971 she was eighth over 200 m at the Pan American Games in Cali .

In 1974 she was eighth over 200 m at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch , fourth in the Canadian 4 x 100 meter relay and was eliminated over 100 m in the semi-finals. The following year, she won silver in the 100 m and bronze in the 4 x 100 m relay at the Pan American Games in Mexico City in 1975 . At the Universiade she won bronze over 100 m.

At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, she reached the semi-finals over 100 m and 200 m and came fourth with the Canadian 4 x 100 meter relay.

In 1977 she was fourth at the Athletics World Cup in Düsseldorf with the American 4 x 100 meter relay. At the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton in 1978 , she was sixth over 100 m, seventh over 200 m and won silver with the Canadian 4 x 100 meter relay.

She was five times Canadian champion over 100 m (1970, 1972, 1975, 1976, 1978) and four times over 200 m (1970, 1973, 1976, 1978).
