Paul Brandenburg (industrialist)
Paul Brandenburg (born February 18, 1881 in Hörde , † July 31, 1927 in Bad Tönisstein ) was a German manager in the refractory industry .
From August 1, 1915 until his death, Brandenburg was director of the stone and thon industrial company "Brohltal" , which merged in 1917 with the United Hüttenwerke Burbach-Eich-Dudelange of the steel group ARBED . He modernized the plants in Burgbrohl and Antweiler and built a silica stone factory based on his own design in 1922 , and later a steam sawmill in Urmitz . The construction of a new chamotte distillery in Kerkerbach near Limburg an der Lahn was about to be completed when he died.
Brandenburg was chairman of the supervisory board of the Brohltal railway company and a member of the supervisory board of Rauschermühle AG and the Eschweiler mining association .
