Paul Clarkin

Paul Clarkin (* 1953 ; † 2004 in Bristol ), internationally known as "Mr. Polo ”was a New Zealand polo player .

Paul Clarkin married Chele Clarkin, with whom he had three children: John-Paul Clarkin (polo player), Matthew Clarkin ( rugby union player, currently plays in the top 14 French league at Union Bordeaux Bègles ) and Emma (who studied law, before she died in a car accident at 19).

In 2004, Clarkin died as a result of a fall while playing polo in Cirencester , England .
