Paul Elßenwenger

Paul Elßenwenger (born December 22, 1875 in Bad Goisern ; † October 10, 1950 ) was an Austrian flower and landscape painter .

Paul Elßenwenger was born the son of the photographer Alois Els (s) enwenger. He grew up in a musical family. As a child he met Emil Jakob Schindler with his group of students. His father's friend Josef Steinbrecher certainly gave him many suggestions.

The Goiserer painter died on October 10, 1950 at the age of 75.

A memorial plaque with the following inscription was attached to the house where he was born, Goisern No. 76: “Paul Elßenwenger was born on December 22nd, 1875 in this house. As a landscape watercolorist, he deserves the honorary name 'Der Painter von Goisern'. "
