Paul Hoffman (Author, 1953)
Paul Hoffman (born November 9, 1953 ) is an English author and screenwriter .
Life
Hoffman studied English at New College (Oxford) . He then worked in over 20 professions, including as a reviewer for the British Board of Film Classification . In addition to a few short stories, Hoffman has written three books and a trilogy so far . The Wisdom of Crocodiles was his first book in 2000, based on his script of the 1998 film of the same name .
In 2007 the book The Golden Age of Censorship was published , which has not yet been translated into German. In 2010 the first part of a fantasy trilogy followed, which was concluded in 2013 with the last volume, The Beating of his Wings . The German translation The Hour of the Redeemer was published in August 2014.
Another single volume, Scorn , was published in 2017 .
