biography
Paul Klüber was born on November 24, 1904, the sixth and youngest child of a middle-class, long-established family in Kleinsassen. Paul Klüber grew up in poor circumstances and lost his mother at the age of 10. He discovered his talent for painting early on. He acquired the techniques himself, he did not receive any special art training.
Quote from Klüber: Either you have the talent, then you don't need a degree, or you don't have it, then the academic lessons are of no use either.
Klüber mainly painted motifs from the Rhön, his favorite motif was the Milseburg .
In 1944 Klüber fell while deployed on the Eastern Front.
