Paul Knobbe

Paul Knobbe (born January 2, 1867 in Ayssehnen , Memelland ; † April 4, 1956 in Essen ) was a German architect .

Knobbe studied from 1887 to 1890 at the Technical University (Berlin-) Charlottenburg . From 1901 to 1906 he was head of the construction department of Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG (GBAG) in Gelsenkirchen-Ückendorf . He then worked as a freelancer in Essen, initially in partnership with the architect Carl Nordmann until the First World War .
