Paul Knobbe
Paul Knobbe (born January 2, 1867 in Ayssehnen , Memelland ; † April 4, 1956 in Essen ) was a German architect .

Knobbe studied from 1887 to 1890 at the Technical University (Berlin-) Charlottenburg . From 1901 to 1906 he was head of the construction department of Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG (GBAG) in Gelsenkirchen-Ückendorf . He then worked as a freelancer in Essen, initially in partnership with the architect Carl Nordmann until the First World War .

- 1902: Building of the Zeche Zollern II / IV (except machine hall) in Dortmund- Bövinghausen
- 1903: Landwehr colony workers' settlement to the Zollern II / IV colliery in Dortmund-Bövinghausen
- 1903 - 1905: various operational buildings of the Hansa colliery in Dortmund-Huckarde (of which the so-called old smithy is preserved )
- 1903 - 1906: Welfare building in the " old colony " in Dortmund-Eving
- 1906: Wages hall of the Westhausen colliery in Dortmund-Bodelschwingh
