Paul Krings

Paul Krings (born April 19, 1917 in Solingen ; † November 2, 1985 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith . After serving in the war and returning from captivity , he was a tram and bus driver from 1950 to 1956. From 1956 to 1979 Krings was managing director of the public services, transport and traffic union in the Solingen district .

MP

From May 29, 1980 until his death on November 2, 1985, Krings was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in constituency 039 Solingen II.

He was a member of the city council of Solingen from 1962.

Honors

In 1977 Krings was awarded the ring of honor by the city of Solingen.
