Paul Nancekievill
Paul Nancekievill (* 1952 in London ) is an English organist , cantor and church music director who works in Germany .
He studied German at the University of Kent and later Protestant church music in Cologne . From 1982 to 1986 he directed the Cologne Oratorio Choir . Since 1986 he has been organist and cantor at the Sankt-Johannis-Kirche in Meldorf , Schleswig-Holstein , the so-called Meldorfer Dom . Appointed church music director in 2000, he directed four choirs and a chamber music orchestra called the Rogerius Ensemble until he retired in 2016 . In addition, he conducted international summer concerts . He also performs regionally and internationally at concerts.
