Paul Johann Radakovics (born December 25, 1988 in Oberwart ) is an Austrian basketball player .

career

Radakovics played in the age groups U16, U18 and U20 for Austria's national teams. At the U18 B European Championship in 2006, he was the second best scorer in Austria with a point average of 13.6 per game. Two years later, Radakovics led the U20 selection at the B-EM with 17.4 points per game.

At club level, he made the leap into the Bundesliga with the Oberwart Gunners and was part of the squad until 2010, but remained a supplementary player. That was also the case when he was in the service of Bundesliga club WBC Wels in the 2010/11 season . In 2011 he moved to the BSC Fürstenfeld Panthers , at the latest in his second year there he achieved the Bundesliga breakthrough, when Radakovics averaged 7.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per match.

In 2013 he joined UBC St. Pölten and increased his average points per game in the 2013/14 Bundesliga season to 11.7. In the 2014/15 season he played with St. Pölten in the 2nd Bundesliga, where he scored 9.8 points per game.

In 2015 he returned to Fürstenfeld and thus to the Bundesliga. In the summer break of 2018 he moved within the division to BC Hallmann Vienna .
