Paul Salamon
Pál "Paul" Salamon (born July 20, 1930 in Budapest , Hungary ) is a Hungarian writer and screenwriter .
Life
Paul Salamon studied economics and political science at the Corvinus University Budapest in Budapest . He then worked at the Ministry of Agriculture before writing for several newspapers. With further progressive socialist reforms in Hungary, Salamon left the state party in 1970 and later in 1976 with his wife also the country. Up until that time he had published several short stories, plays and screenplays. From 1977 he lived alternately in the USA and Israel. He made his novel debut in 1964 with A tábornok lányában . So far, two novels, Die Schule der Träume and The fortune teller , have been published in German by the Aufbau Verlag .
