Paul Vlahos
Paul Vlahos is an American film technician who was honored with an Academy Award of Merit for his film technical developments in the field of blue screen technology .
Life
In 1976 Vlahos founded Ultimatte Corporation with his father Petro Vlahos in Chatsworth . At the Academy Awards in 1995 , he and his father received an Academy Award of Merit, namely "for the design and development of the Ultimatte blue screen compositing process for feature films" ("For the conception and development of the Ultimatte blue screen compositing process for motion pictures').
