Hans Joachim Kreutzer
Hans Joachim Kreutzer (born February 21, 1935 in Essen ; † July 19, 2018 in Munich ) was a German literary scholar , musicologist and editor .
career
Kreutzer studied German and Latin Philology and Musicology at the Universities of Hamburg , Munich and Zurich . He received his doctorate in 1964 and his habilitation in 1975. He then taught in Hamburg, Münster , Göttingen and from 1977 to 2001 in Regensburg . He was considered an important Heinrich von Kleist researcher, for whom he published a biography and further studies on his work and, together with Klaus Kanzog, planned a historical-critical complete edition.
