Paul Root

Paul Wurzel (born May 26, 1877 in Weiherhöfen , district of Weißenstadt , † July 18, 1936 in Weißenburg am Sand ) was a Bavarian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). He was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 1919 to 1920 .

Wurzel attended elementary school from 1883 to 1891 and trained as a potter in Meißen . From 1910 to 1919 he was a master potter in Weißenburg. From 1911 to 1913 and from 1914 to 1919 Paul Wurzel was chairman of the constituency organization Middle Franconia 4 of the Social Democratic Party. From 1919 to 1933 he belonged to the Weißenburg city council, from 1918 to 1919 to the Weißenburg workers' council and from 1927 until his death to the Weißenburg consumer association.
