Paulus III. (Constantinople)
Paulus III. (Greek Παύλος Γ΄ ) was the patriarch of Constantinople (688–694). He is venerated as a saint in the Orthodox Church . Remembrance day is August 31st .
Life
Paulos was ordained Patriarch of Constantinople in January 688. He was involved in the Council of 692 in Constantinople . The Hagia Sophia in Constantinople was reopened during his time .
Paulos resigned from office on August 20, 694. The date of his death is unknown.
