Paul's fantastic adventure
Paul's fantastic adventures (french. Une aventure de Jules épatante or shortly Jules ) is a comic series from the year 1999 of the French comic artist Émile Bravo . The series was first published by Verlag Dargaud and translated into German by Carlsen Verlag . The stories were also published in the Belgian magazine Spirou .

Paul is a normal boy at the age of 12. He has a little brother, but the space campaign has made him his big brother. During the space campaign, he met Janet Wilkins, who later became best friends. His best friend since childhood is Bastien (also spelled Bastian ).

- Paul (Jules)
Paul is the hero of the story. He is 12 years old, lives in France and has a brother named Romeo. His best friends are Bastian and Janet.
- Dingsda (Bidule)
Thing is Paul's guinea pig, who always travels with Paul.
- Janet
Janet Wilkins is Paul's best friend. They met while traveling to the planet Alpha Centauri. She has two cloned sisters.
- Tim
Tim is a resident of Alpha Centauri. He is blue and has green eyes. Since he has no mouth, he is a telepath.
- Janis and Jane
Janis Wilkins is Janet's first cloned sister. Jane Wilkins is the second cloned sister of Janet.
- Romeo (Roméo)
Romeo is Paul's little brother. After the journey into space, however, he is Paul's big brother, as the journey at the speed of light caused a time difference of several years.
- Bastian (also spelled Bastien ) (Joris)
Bastian is Paul's best friend.
- Turnip (salsifi)
Turnip is a friend of Tim and also a resident of Alpha Centauri.
- Mr. and Mrs. Wilkins
Mr. and Mrs. Wilkins are Janet's parents. Ms. Wilkins is a researcher and created the first clone of Janet. The clone is called Janis.
- Paul's parents
Paul's parents don't always approve of his adventures.
- Gredulin
Like Ms. Wilkins, Gredulin is a researcher. He went crazy and created the second clone of Janet. The clone is called Jane.
- Professor Bennet
Professor Bennet flew to Alpha Centauri with Paul and Janet. He lives with Tim on a farm in Scotland.

1. Leap into the future (L'Imparfait du futur) 1999; 2014
Paul is selected by a computer system for a trip to the planet Alpha Centauri. Here Paul meets Janet and they become friends. They meet Tim on the planet. Later they all come back to earth safely. Unfortunately, traveling at the speed of light has shifted time. So Romeo becomes Paul's big brother.
2. An insolent number of clones (La Réplique inattendue) 2001; 2014
Paul goes to Janet's vacation in England and meets Janet's cloned sister Janis. Mrs. Wilkins is ambushed by Gredulin. With the help of Tim and Professor Bennet, they find Gredulin's hiding place. But you cannot prevent Gredulin from cloning Janet a second time. This is how Jane is made.
3. Almost buried (Presque enterrés) 2002; 2014
It's holidays and Paul goes with Bastien, who is now a cave explorer, Janet, Romeo and of course Dingsda to Hubert, Bastien's friend, to explore a cave. While they are in the cave, it collapses and they are buried. But Hubert can save himself at the last moment, but does not come back to the village. Paul and the others are missing and that is why the mayor, a friend of Hubert's, and Doctor Arielle go to look for them. The two can find Hubert. In the cave Paul and the others discover a buried explorer named Etcheverry. A rescue operation can save everyone.
4. Sudden departure (Un départ précipité) 2003; 2015
For Paul, his guinea pig thing is the most important thing there is. When his rodent is given up by the vet, he asks a geneticist for help. Finally, Paul hopes for an elixir of life from his extraterrestrial friends. Everyone helps, everything will be fine, but different than Paul thought ...
5. Father wanted ( La Question du père ) 2006; 2015
Paul and his best friend Bastian spend their holidays in a sailing camp for children that is going to be more adventurous than they could have imagined.
6th Comet Alert ( Un plan sur la cométe ) 2011; 2016
A comet is racing towards earth. Paul and Janet want to stop him with the help of their alien friends. But they refuse to help people because humanity is about to destroy the earth itself.
Trivia
In the album Outrageously Many Clones , Bravo draws a reporter and his dog, who is called Struppi XIII. These people are based on Tim and Struppi von Hergé .
