Paulus Natangwe Ambunda (born August 6, 1980 in Swakopmund , South West Africa , today Namibia ), known as Paulus "The Rock" Ambunda , is a Namibian professional boxer and reigning international champion of the WBA and IBF in super bantamweight . He was also world champion in bantamweight boxing in 2013 according to the rules of the WBO and since August 1, 2015 world champion in super bantamweight according to the guidelines of the IBO . Since September 29, 2018 he has also been world champion in bantamweight according to IBO guidelines.

Ambunda has won 19 of his 20 fights so far, 10 of them by knockout. He took part in bantamweight at the 2004 Summer Olympics, where he failed in the quarterfinals. At the All-Africa Games 2003 he won the silver medal in the same class. since
