Macondo is a village and a municipality in eastern Angola .

Macondo is the seat of a municipality of the same name (Comuna) in the district ( Município ) of Alto Zambeze , in the province of Moxico . The municipality of Macondo covers an area of 8902 km² and has 4159 inhabitants (as of January 2014).
