Pavel Baran
Pavel Baran (born April 25, 1957 in Ostrava ) is a Czech lecturer at the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Ostrava.
Life
After graduating from high school in Frýdek-Místek , he studied philosophy from 1976 to 1981 with a PhD, which was followed by a doctorate in CSc. connected. Since 1986 he has worked at the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic , which he is currently director.
Teaching
His main interest is in the philosophical research of values and values. His areas of expertise are philosophy, history of philosophy, political philosophy, history of modern philosophy, and contemporary political thought. He also works as a translator of German and French texts.
