Pavel Vechet (* 1976) is a former Czech ski jumper .

Career

Vechet made his international debut in the 1991/92 season as part of the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . With five points he reached 85th place overall. In the following season 1992/93 he reached position 61 with 11 points. On March 11, 1993 Vechet made his debut in the ski jumping World Cup . He narrowly missed the points as 19th in Lillehammer . Even three days later in Oslo he just missed the points. At the team competition in Planica he achieved a good placement with the team with seventh place. In the individual jumping he reached rank 35.

In the 1993/94 season he started again in the World Cup in Liberec , but again remained well behind the points. In the Continental Cup he was able to reach the 40th place for the 1994/95 season with 216 points. His best season was with the 1995/96 season . With 275 points he reached the 24th place in the season's overall ranking.

In December 1996 and December 1997 he started again in the World Cup in Harrachov , but could not achieve any World Cup points again. After he only reached 54th in the overall Continental Cup ranking in the 1996/97 season , he ended his active ski jumping career.
