Pawel Wladimirowitsch Doronin ( Russian Павел Владимирович Доронин ; born August 21, 1988 in the Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Toros Neftekamsk in the Vysschaja Hockey League since 2010 .

Career

Pawel Doronin began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of Salawat Yulayev Ufa , for whose second team he was active from 2003 to 2007 in the third-rate Pervaya League . For Ufa's professional team, the defender was occasionally used in the Super League from 2005 . In the 2007/08 season he was able to earn a regular place in the professional team of Salawat Yulayev Ufa and became Russian champions with his team .

In the 2008/09 season Doronin stood for Salawat Yulayev Ufa in one game each in the newly founded Continental Hockey League , as well as in the Champions Hockey League at European level . The rest of the season he spent mostly with his second team in the third division, as well as with Toros Neftekamsk in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. Then the junior national player paused for a year with ice hockey before he finally moved to Toros Neftekamsk in the new second division, the Wysschaja Hockey League , for the 2010/11 season .

International

For Russia , Doronin took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2006 and the U20 World Junior Championship in 2008 . At the U20 World Cup in 2008, he and his team won the bronze medal. He was also on the ice for Russia in the 2007 Super Series .
