The Pearce Dome is a dome-shaped and 789 m high mountain on the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It rises 0.8 km west-northwest of Khufu Peak and 1 km east of Blodwen Peak . Its northern flank is free of ice and snow.
A report by the British Antarctic Survey in 1962, he has been The Snow Dome ( English for The Snow Dome named). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee changed its name on April 23, 1998. It is named after Clifford John Pearce (* 1935), meteorologist for the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey , who spent the winter at the station on Fossil Bluff in 1961.
