The Pearse Valley is a 5 km long and ice-free valley in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies immediately west of the Catspaw Glacier on the south side of the Asgard Range .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the valley in 1964 after the American biologist John Stuart Pearse (* 1936), who worked at the McMurdo station from 1961 to 1962 .
