Pedro Belo (2019)

Superintendente Pedro Belo is an East Timorese police officer.

Until 2007, Belo was the chief inspector of the East Timorese National Police (PNTL) in the Baucau district , and in 2008 he moved to the post of police chief of the capital district of Dili . Since 2019, Belo has been Commander for National Operations (Komandante Operasaun Nasional) .

In 2010 Belo received the Medalha Solidariedade de Timor-Leste . He is married to Zenilda Gusmão, the daughter of the politician Xanana Gusmão . In 2016, Belo and his wife founded Lalenok United FC .
