Pedro Fraga
Pedro Fraga (* 27. January 1983 in Paranhos ) is a Portuguese lightweight - rowers .
Fraga began rowing in 1998, and in 2002 he competed in the World Cup for the first time. In 2004, together with Nuno Mendes, he finished second at the U23 world championships in lightweight double sculls, and they were able to repeat this success in 2005. In 2006 the two of them reached an A-final in the World Cup for the first time in Poznan and finished sixth, at the 2008 Olympic Games they finished eighth. After finishing fifth at the 2009 European Rowing Championships , they won the silver medal at the 2010 European Championships in front of a home crowd , and they both finished sixth at the 2010 World Rowing Championships . In 2011 they reached third place at the World Cup in Hamburg, and they also came third at the 2011 European Championships . In 2012, the two rowed into the finals at the 2012 Olympic Games and finished in fifth place.
The 1.75 m tall Pedro Fraga is a teacher and rows for SC Porto .
