Pedro Merino
Pedro Merino Criado (born July 8, 1987 in Manzanares) is a Spanish road cyclist .
Pedro Merino won a stage of the Vuelta al Besaya in the junior class in 2005 . In the 2008 season he finished second at the Grand Prix Jean Masse and he won a stage and the overall classification at the Giro delle Valli Cuneesi nelle Alpi del Mare . The next year Merino was signed by the Canadian team TelTeck-H20 , which, however, never came about due to financial reasons. In 2009 he won the Valenciaga Memorial and was the Spanish champion in the U23 road race . At the end of the year he drove for the UCI ProTeam Fuji-Servetto as a stagiaire and got a professional contract there for the 2010 season.
