Pedro Orgambide

Pedro Orgambide (born August 9, 1929 in Buenos Aires , † January 19, 2003 in Buenos Aires) was an Argentine writer .

He wrote short stories, novels, plays, short stories and essays.

Orgambide founded the magazine "La Gaceta Literaria". In 1974 he went into exile in Mexico, where he lived until 1983. There he founded the magazine "Cambio" together with Juan Rulfo , José Revueltas y Julio Cortázar .

In 2001 he was named Ciudadano Ilustre de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (Notable Citizen of Buenos Aires).
