Peetje en Meetje

Peetje en Meetje (also called Meetje en Peetje ) is a pseudodolmen , like the Belgian pseudodolmen by Gomery . Peetje en Meetje is located near the Fazantendreef road in the Kluisbos (forest) of Ronse ( French Renaix ) southwest of Kluisbergen in Oost-Vlaanderen , on the border with Wallonia in Belgium .

Originally there were only two individual stones. It is unknown how long they existed as a trilith .

As numerous old postcards show, the two stones were originally much further apart. They were brought closer to each other and supplemented by a stone found near Kluisbergen.

Tradition speaks of a place of sacrifice for Celtic druids .
