The Peiku Tso ( Chinese 佩 枯 错 , Pinyin Pèikū Cuò ; also Paiku Co ) is a lake in Tibet ( China ).
The lake is located 57 km north-north-west of the eight-thousander Shishapangma on the Tibetan plateau on the border of the Gyirong and Nyalam counties . The outflowless lake covers an area of about 300 km² and lies at an altitude of 4591 m . The Peiku Tso measures 27 km in north-south direction. Halfway along a peninsula protrudes from the west into the lake and divides it into a southern and a northern basin. The water is brackish .
