The family business started in 1930 from the new bus depot in Bortfeld in the travel division. Gradually, some regular services were also provided in the Peine district , which also extend to Braunschweig and the Gifhorn district .
In 1993 the Reisepartner company was founded together with Fuhrmann-GmbH. The program includes over 400 trips to more than 40 countries. In addition to the classic bus trips, the travel partner offers cruises and combined air / bus and bus / boat trips. Another component are vacation and spa trips, as well as club tours. In the regional daily and weekly newspapers, special trips for current events or at particularly favorable conditions are also offered at short notice.
For reasons of age, Erich Mundstock sold the company to Braunschweiger Verkehrs-AG in 1998. New employees were increasingly hired at Kraftverkehr Mundstock in order to be able to reduce personnel costs in the long term.

Currently, the now operated Wedtlenstedt based company a number of bus lines of the Braunschweiger Verkehrs-AG as well as through its subsidiary Peiner Transport Company (PVG) from the newly built depot in Peine former KVM lines of the former VG Peine.
