The Pelican Lake is a lake in the western Canadian province of Manitoba .
The lake is in Division No. 19 . Pelican Lake is located 70 km east-northeast of Swan River between Swan Lake in the west and the central part of Lake Winnipegosi in the east. The lake, which is difficult to access, is located in a swampy area. Pelican Lake has a north-south extension of 24 km and a maximum width of 9 km. Its water surface covers more than 100 km². The lake has no noteworthy tributaries. In the extreme south of Pelican Lake is the small island of Dunoya Island . The Pelican Lake is drained at the north end over the 6 km long Pelican River to Pelican Bay , a bay of the Winnipegosi.
