Swan River is a small town in Manitoba , Canada . Around 4032 people live in the city and another 2,923 people in the surrounding communities. Swan River is the thirteenth largest city in the province by population. The city is located in a valley of the Duck Mountains and the Porcupine Hills. It lies on the river of the same name and on the border with Saskatchewan .
