Pellegrino di Mariano (known as Rossini ) is an Italian painter and illuminator from the Sienese school who worked in Siena from 1449 until the year of his death in 1492 .

life and work

He worked with Liberale da Verona and Francesco Rosselli to illuminate antiphonals on display in the Piccolomini library in the Siena Cathedral .

In addition to illuminating , he also dealt with painting on panels . He was also one of the painters of the so-called Tavoletta di Biccherna , the panel paintings from Biccherna, Siena.
