The Pelsiner See is a body of water in Pelsin , a district of the city of Anklam in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

The lake is located east of the community center in the middle of an agricultural area in a wooded area. The bank is largely overgrown. To the north is the Anklam district of Gellendin , to the southeast the district of Dargibell of the municipality of Neu Kosenow. The water is accessed from the west by two paths that lead to Pelsin. There is a swimming area on the northeast bank.

In 2012 the lake was renatured and a drainage ditch was exposed to control the water level. This was blocked in 2015 and meant that the residents could not use the lake for a longer period of time.

At its longest point, the lake is 565 meters wide and up to 361 meters long. This results in a bank length of around 2200 meters and an area of around 15.2  hectares . The maximum depth is 6.3 meters, the mean depth 2.8 meters.

The lake is eutrophic . The mute swan , the reed warbler , the tufted duck and the pochard live in its vicinity .
