Pena is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Vila Real . The community had 479 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Pena, Quintã and Vila Cova were merged to form the new community União das Freguesias de Pena, Quintã e Vila Cova .
