Penelope Wallace

Penelope Wallace (born May 30, 1923 , † January 13, 1997 in Oxford ) was an English crime writer .

Penelope Wallace was the daughter of the English crime writer Edgar Wallace and his second wife, Violet Ethel King. She is the author of several crime stories, some of which have also appeared in German. Despite her prominent name, she didn't nearly match her father's popularity.

In 1969 she founded The Edgar Wallace Appreciation Society . Until 1984 she was solely responsible for the organization and until her death in 1997 she was the president.
