The Penguin Knob ( English for penguin height ) is a low hill on the East Antarctic George V coast . It rises immediately south of Cape Denison on the east bank of the entrance to Boat Harbor and 460 m north of the largest of the Mawson's Huts .

The Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson named him during the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914).
