Peppermint Grove is part of the metropolis of Perth , the capital of Western Australia. The area has about 16,500 inhabitants (2016) and is the smallest LGA in Australia with an area of ​​1.1 square kilometers.

Peppermint Grove is on the north bank of the Swan River near the estuary and about ten kilometers southwest of Perth city center. The LGA only consists of the district of the same name.
