The Diocese of Franca ( Latin Dioecesis Francopolitana , Portuguese Diocese de Franca ) is a in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Franca in the state of São Paulo .
history
The diocese Franca was on February 20, 1971 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Quo aptius from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Rio Preto and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Ribeirão Preto as a suffragan .
