Pernille Kaae Høier
Pernille Kaae Høier (born May 9, 1991 in Hørsholm Kommune ) is a Danish actress .
She became known in 2003 for her lead and title role in the television series Jesus and Josefine , also beyond the borders of Denmark.
Life
She probably had her first film role in the comedy When Mama Comes Home , which was also known in Germany as Mama steals . In this film, she plays one of three siblings whose mother was caught shoplifting and taken to jail, and who have since been living without adults, without the people who swindled them knowing. The said film was a success and the director Loni Scherfig won the Cinekid Prize in Amsterdam . The family comedy could be seen in Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, probably also in Spain and England, as well as in Germany.
After this happy debut, in 2003 she played the role of Josephine in the 24-part television series: Jesus and Josephine . Because of this role she became known in Denmark and Germany. The television series is an advent calendar . The series was broadcast several times in Germany.
In 2005 she played Josefine again in the film Oskar & Josefine , a sequel to Jesus and Josefine. The film was released in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the USA, Russia, Canada, Hungary, Japan, Sweden and Germany. The film has an English subtitle for the English-speaking countries.
In 2009 she appeared in an episode of the Danish series Store drømme .
At the end of December 2009 she was in an episode of Hvem vil være millionær? ( Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? ). Here she and Nikolaj Steen, her film father from Jesus and Josephine , took part in the quiz on the occasion of the repetition of the series on Danish television.
In 2011 she made a brief appearance in Hvem Brænder Børnene I Helvede . She also played as Ulla in an episode of the Danish series Alla Salute! With. In the 2010s, now in adulthood, the actress took part in several television productions and the movie Second Chance .
