Petar Šegedin (athlete)
Petar Šegedin (born September 14, 1926 in Orebić , † October 14, 1994 in Dubrovnik ) was a Yugoslav obstacle runner .
In 1948 he was sixth over 3000 m obstacle at the Olympic Games in London .
At the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 and at the Mediterranean Games in 1951, he won silver each. In 1952 he was eliminated from the Olympic Games in Helsinki .
He set his personal best over the 3000 m obstacle of 8: 47.8 minutes on May 1, 1953 in Belgrade .
