Peter-Michael Koenig
Peter-Michael Koenig (born August 12, 1935 in Aachen ; † October 12, 2007 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).
Koenig, who studied pharmacist, was initially an SPD politician, from 1964 a city councilor in Aachen and a candidate for mayor in 1969. In 1969 he entered the German Bundestag via the SPD's state list . In 1972 he resigned his mandate and joined the CDU. Since 1981 he has been a member of the Aachen-Mitte district council, which he headed for many years as district chairman. He was chairman of the European Union of Aachen.
