Peter Arbenz
Peter Arbenz (born August 23, 1937 in Winterthur ; resident in Andelfingen ) is a Swiss development worker , politician ( FDP ) and civil servant.
From 1977 to 1986 Peter Arbenz was a member of the Winterthur City Council (Department of Construction). He then became a delegate for refugee affairs at federal level and, from 1990, director of the Federal Office for Refugees.
Until 1994 he was in command of Border Brigade 6 , then until 2002 deputy in command of Field Army Corps 4 . In 1994 he was Inspector General of UNPROFOR in the former Yugoslavia.
