Peter Roar

Peter Brüll (born September 10, 1938 in Berlin ; † October 22, 2018 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Education and life

After attending secondary school from 1956 to 1958, Peter Brüll trained in the meteorological and hydrological service and then worked as a technician. In 1959/64 he studied distance learning at the engineering school for water management in Magdeburg. He took a master class for photographers with a degree in 1967 and attended the agricultural engineering school in Naumburg from 1968 to 1973 with a degree in agricultural engineering. 1974 to 1976 he studied at the civil engineering school in Leipzig. From 1958 to 1964 he worked for the water management department in Halle and from 1964 for the VEB water supply and waste water treatment hall, later Mitteldeutsche Wasser- und Abwasser GmbH (MIDEWA).

Peter Brüll was Protestant. He was married and has two sons.

politics

Peter Brüll had been a member of the DBD since 1969 . After the fall of the Wall , from October 1989 to May 1990 he was a member of the independent citizens' commission against arbitrariness and violence in Halle. In January 1990 he was elected to the regional executive committee of the DBD. Due to the merger between DBD and CDU, he was a member of the CDU since July 1990. He was directly elected to the state parliament in the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990 in the state constituency of Halle, Neustadt I (WK 34).

Union engagement

From April 1990 he was chairman of the works council at MIDEWA GmbH and from May 1990 chairman of the general works council.
