Peter Chrysant (born December 17, 1861 in Oedekoven ; † 1928 ) was a master baker and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Chrysant attended elementary school and advanced training school, completed his apprenticeship from 1876 to 1878 in Bonn and started his own business as a master baker in 1889. In 1893 he became a board member, in 1897 head master of the bakers' guild and from 1900 he was chairman of the Cologne Chamber of Crafts . From 1881 to 1884 he served in the Kaiser Franz Regiment and was released as a private. From 1905 he was city councilor in Bonn and from 1909 chairman of the Rheinische Genossenschaft for the economic promotion of craft and trade for the Rhine province. He was also the second chairman of the center electoral association for the constituency of Bonn-Rheinbach, member of the board of the Rheinischer Genossenschaftsverband and member of the Rhenish provincial parliament.

From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency district of Düsseldorf 9 Kempen and the German Center Party .
