Peter thing
Peter Dinges (* 1961 in Saarbrücken ) is a German lawyer and cultural manager . Since April 1, 2004 he has been the director of the Filmförderungsanstalt (FFA).
Life
Peter Dinges graduated from the University of Freiburg Law . In 1991 he completed his studies with the second state examination in law.
Afterwards he worked as a lecturer in commercial law in Magdeburg from 1991 and then as a lawyer in Arnstadt . In 1993 he moved to the Munich media company Telepool . From 1994 he was briefly deputy managing director of TeleTaunusFilm before he returned to Telepool Munich the following year and became Head of Business & Legal Affairs.
In 1999 Dinges became a member of the management of the Filmförderungsanstalt. In 2004 he was appointed to the board of directors of the Filmförderungsanstalt.
Dinges is still a member of the supervisory board of German films and chairman of the shareholders' meeting of Vision Kino . Since September 2014 he has also been President of the pan-European network European Film Agency Directors (EFAD). In September 2016 he was unanimously confirmed for a second term.
