Peter Donnhäuser

Peter Donnhäuser (born June 27, 1900 in Dolní Dvůr , † April 24, 1933 in Karlsbad ) was a National Socialist youth leader in the Sudetenland .

Career

Donnhäuser worked as a teacher. The Czechoslovak authorities dismissed him from civil service because of his National Socialist activities as a youth leader. In the so-called Volkssport Trial , he was sentenced in 1932 to two years of severe imprisonment, which he served in Brno and Karlovy Vary. He died in the Karlsbad State Police Prison.

The National Socialists declared the incident a sacrificial death for the National Socialist idea and for the German homeland. In Reichenberg , Bayreuth , Berlin and Brno . streets were named after him. A library in Reichenberg got his name.
