Peter Easte took part in the 1908 Olympic Games in London in the trap part. He finished the individual competition in 17th place with 46 points. In the team competition, he took first place with the first British team before Canada and the second British team. With a total of 407 points and thus two points ahead of the Canadians, the British, whose team also consisted of Frank Moore , Charles Palmer , John Postans , Alexander Maunder and James Pike , secured the gold medal. Easte was the team's weakest shooter with 55 points.
